About Jef Cracklen

Strategic Leader | Public Speaker | Facilitator

Jef Cracklen is a natural educator, creative strategist, and enablement leader who’s spent her career helping people learn, grow, and thrive. She started teaching at just 21, leading courses in Microsoft Office, Business Administration, and Finance at a local career college. From there, she explored a wide range of industries and roles—receptionist at a job search center, operations assistant at a pharmaceutical company, disability management consultant, bookkeeper, and even marketing manager for a residential electrical company. Every experience added a new layer to her understanding of how people work and what they need to succeed.

Her journey eventually led her to Allocadia, where she joined as a Customer Success Manager and quickly became known for her ability to simplify complex ideas and create engaging learning experiences. Over time, she shifted her focus to enablement, building training programs for customers, partners, and employees, and launching Allocadia’s first partner training initiative.

Over the past decade, Jef has held a variety of leadership roles, including VP of Education and Enablement at Uptempo. She built the function from scratch, designing hands-on customer onboarding, fun and informative product training for employees, collaborative partner enablement, and continuous learning for Sales. She’s led cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Support, and Professional Services—always with a focus on clarity, creativity, and impact.

In 2024, Jef was the only Uptempo employee selected for Rubicon Technology Partners’ Emerging Leaders Program (ELP). Through the program, she led a strategic evaluation of Sales Enablement and proposed a complete rebuild—centered on multimedia learning, 1:1 coaching, continuous practice, and biannual skills assessments. The program was adopted and integrated into her team, where she also led the rollout of Force Management’s Command of the Message methodology across Sales and Customer Success.

Outside of her corporate work, Jef’s passion for performance and communication shines through. She’s taught, worked, and acted at an improv theatre, competed as a public speaker through Toastmasters, and brings that same energy and storytelling flair to her enablement programs. She’s also an avid learner—constantly diving into online courses, professional development books, and self-led research to stay sharp and inspired.

By the time she wrapped up her tenure at Uptempo in 2025, Jef had built a high-impact enablement function, defined GTM and employee learning strategy, supported organizational design, implemented a skills assessment framework, and led countless programs to improve efficiency, drive adoption, and shape company culture.

At her core, Jef is a storyteller and teacher; someone who believes learning should be engaging, empowering, and a little bit fun. Whether she’s designing a training video, leading a strategic initiative, or mentoring a teammate, she brings heart, creativity, and a deep commitment to helping others succeed.
